1. Give up your seat to an elderly person especially a female.
2. Wait until everyone exits unless there is a clear in and out lane.
3. If you lollygag and don't make moves to get out especially when it's crowded don't expect the people to wait for you.
4. Don't put your whole body on the pole so when the train moves you aren't all over someone else's hand.
5. Don't stop on your way up or down a staircase unless you want people to curse you out.
And last but certainly not least....
6. Please be quiet. No one wants to hear your conversation.
Almost every ride I take, I am witness to one or more riders who just don't have a clue. Please take these as life tips for surviving in the city. Remember. If you see something, say something.

So many things to write about.....
...where do I start?
1. Apartment revampification
It's springtime and the apartment is coming together so perfect. Just in time for our guests. 4 in May, 3 in June, and just found out one of my close friends is visiting in July.
2. Baseball season
It started slow for my Mets but, the Padres wow!! they are amazing everyone. I hope it lasts, only for the sake of the fans and the city of san diego. We really need to break that sd sports curse!
3. Chargers
Spent part of last week discussing everything related to my Chargers. A few nights were dedicated to the draft, yes! that was a fun time.... especially learning about all the new rookies! We are looking for a new bar for next season and I think we found it...
Well I have to get back to work, I've got to tie up a lot of loose ends before this week ends only because I start a new job next Tuesday!

I've Got the World on a String....
...sitting on a rainbow! .... What a world, what a life, I'm in love!
So in the past couple months, I've really done a lot of self exploration and analyzing of myself. Not to get too in detail, but, I've had issues with girl friends staying true and also me complaining about it so much. I accept more and more each day that people change and you cannot really whine about the people that come in and out of your life. About this time last year, I was blessed to get the truth from a friend of mine. Her friend was visiting (who I knew before her and met through a mutual friend) and we had a falling out over 7 years ago. She didn't want to hang out with...plain and simple. (I thought she was a little crazy about that and holding on to a grudge) At the time, I was a bit upset but it really opened my eyes. I thanked my current friend for being real with me and not ignoring the situation. We're good friends now. In years past, I would let it bother me to no end. I can't figure out why things are different now except that I'm older but it feels good.
In addition to this little situation, I've lost a few friends over stupid disagreements or even our silly president. Yes, that's right, my best friend stopped talking to me because I didn't vote for our president. Really? Yep. He was too stubborn to accept my different views.
I have an amazing best friend now, my fiance.
Either way, the point of this blog is really just to spread the love. I am enjoying life's journeys and you should too. You cannot control what obstacles come your way, but you can control how you deal with them. If you stay positive and think that good things come to those who wait, you will be rewarded. Believe me, it's a lot easier to be happy than to be stressing about negativity....It's your life and God doesn't give us anything we can't handle.
