There is something seriously wrong with healthcare. I work, I have insurance, I had an emergency and if I went through my insurance, I'd be on a waiting list. So, I didn't. I went to a place that could take me right away but they asked me for my Medicaid card, I said I have insurance, they said "We don't take that" and ended up with a $500 bill..
So if you don't work, you don't pay anything but since you work, we know you can afford this eventually so we don't accept your private insurance.
Bunch of BS.
