After a long hiatus, new venture emerges - my first Etsy product

Hello. It's a been a while since I posted, but, I have been busy with a job transition, wedding planning and overall not really much to write about. I have been working hard planning my wedding, dealing with mad drama (ah who cares, that's over with thankfully), growing closer with God and my future husband. I couldn't be more content with everything that is going on right now and I can't wait for the new things happening around me in the next few months, especially 2011!

Custom Monogram with Quote on Etsy
After realizing how expensive things were with the term "wedding" attached to them during my planning process, I started getting in to creating my own invitations, working on monogram labels, etc for us to use. I had been searching for a monogram on etsy.com but realized that I could probably do this myself in Adobe Photoshop rather than pay for it ($7-10). After a few tries using psd or jpg files from Adobe Photoshop, I realized that this didn't seem like a bad business venture for me. I created the sample monogram (as shown) as a basic starting point for an etsy shop.  I will be creating custom digital files for brides, new moms, etc that may need some help in the design department. This monogram design can be customized to fit specific initials, add a date, etc. It can then be used for wedding programs, wedding menu cards, place cards, labels, ceremony programs, etc. The files that I can create are provided in high-resolution format.

I would have never jumped the gun and done this if it weren't for wedding planning. I have enjoyed planning to this point and I really can't wait for the big day!
